The Bitaxe is designed for home use and operates quietly at stock settings. The included fan is audible but not disruptive, similar to a laptop cooling fan. For even quieter operation, the unit is compatible with premium quiet fans like the Noctua NF-A4x20 5V PWM.

Solo mining is a method where an individual miner independently attempts to solve a Bitcoin block and receive the entire block reward (currently 3.125 BTC). Unlike pool mining, where rewards are shared among participants, solo miners receive the full reward if they successfully validate a block.
